Terms of Service

• You must create a valid account to access our Services.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You agree to provide accurate, up-to-date information.
• You are responsible for all activities under your account.

HostRafiki Services must be used for lawful purposes only. Prohibited activities include:

• Illegal activities or content
• Spamming, hacking, or disrupting services
• Unauthorized resale or redistribution

You agree to comply with any usage limits (e.g., storage, bandwidth). A HostRafiki account for our mobile apps, such as RafikiHPress, starts on a free plan that does not expire; each plan includes limits, such as the number of WordPress sites you can connect, which may be changed for new connections with notice.

• Subscription plans are billed in USD or UGX (as selected).
• Payments are recurring unless canceled.
• Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
• HostRafiki reserves the right to modify pricing with advance notice.

HostRafiki strives for 99.9% uptime, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We are not liable for temporary outages due to maintenance, technical issues, or force majeure events.

• HostRafiki implements robust security measures, including real-time monitoring, SSL, and backups.
• You are responsible for maintaining secure passwords and protecting your account.
• HostRafiki is not liable for breaches caused by user negligence.

• All HostRafiki content, branding, and tools are our intellectual property.
• You may not reproduce, distribute, or use HostRafiki IP without written permission.
• You retain ownership of your website content, apps, and data.

• HostRafiki may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms.
• Users may cancel services at any time through their dashboard.
• App account holders may delete their HostRafiki account at any time from within the app or at api.hostrafiki.com/account/delete.
• Upon termination, access to data and services may be revoked.

HostRafiki is not liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of data, profits, or business opportunity

Our liability is limited to the amount you have paid for the Services in the preceding 12 months.

• HostRafiki may update these Terms at any time.
• Changes are effective upon posting, with notice provided via email or dashboard.
• Continued use constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Uganda. Any disputes will be resolved through negotiation, and if necessary, through courts in Uganda.
